You will then enjoy an unforgettable experience in Punta Laguna, a community-run reserve managed by local inhabitants. Activities include rappelling, kayaking across the lagoon, and hiking through the forest in search of spider monkeys. Next, head to Bacalar, a true haven of peace. Here, you will wake up early for a sunrise paddleboarding session on the famous Lagoon of Seven Colors — a magical, silent, and eco-friendly experience. Day 1 - Arrival in Cancún
Upon your arrival in Mexico, our Concierge service will be there to assist and take care of you throughout your stay. Thanks to the WhatsApp group created just before your arrival, you will stay in direct contact with us so we can support you at every step and make your trip a truly relaxing experience.

Days 2 to 3 – Chichén Itzá, Cycling Tour & Local Family Encounter
In the morning, you will drive to your next destination: Valladolid.
Visiting Chichén Itzá, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in Mexico, is an unforgettable experience. As you explore this vast complex at your own pace, you will discover architectural wonders that reflect the greatness of the ancient Maya civilization. The Pyramid of Kukulcán, with its 91 steps on each side, stands at the heart of the site, captivating visitors with its impressive symmetry and fascinating history.
The following day, enjoy a cycling tour through the surroundings of Valladolid and its cenotes. Riding through local villages, you will discover everyday life, traditions, and stories that are still deeply rooted in the community. You will also learn how to make your own tortillas alongside local women in a warm and welcoming family atmosphere.

Day 4 – Cenote Adventure
Just a few kilometers from Valladolid, surrounded by lush vegetation, enjoy an authentic immersion into nature and local traditions.
Your experience begins with the discovery of a spectacular cenote, a true natural gem hidden within the rock. Its fresh, crystal-clear waters invite you to swim in a peaceful and mystical setting once considered sacred by the ancient Maya.
But the adventure goes beyond swimming: more active travelers can soar through the jungle on a zip line, explore forest trails by bike, or discover local crops during a visit to the community garden. These activities, suitable for all ages, create a deeper connection with the surrounding environment.

Days 5 to 6 – Spider Monkeys Encounter & Sunrise Paddleboarding in Bacalar
Your private guide will take you deep into the Punta Laguna Community Reserve, a protected sanctuary for the Yucatán spider monkeys. Before entering the jungle, a local shaman will perform a traditional Maya purification ritual using copal incense — a special moment to honor nature and awaken your senses to the living forest around you.
Equipped with binoculars, you will then follow winding jungle trails beneath hanging vines as your guide helps you spot and observe the spider monkeys swinging gracefully through the trees. Along the way, you will learn about the conservation efforts led by the local community to protect this endangered species and preserve its natural habitat.

When to go ?
This itinerary, crossing Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca, and the Pacific coast in Puerto Escondido, offers a wide variety of climates and altitudes. Overall, it is a region that can be visited year-round, although some periods are more favorable depending on the stages of the trip.
If you have flexibility, we recommend traveling between November and April, which generally corresponds to the dry season. During these months, you can expect mild temperatures and pleasant weather, ideal for cultural visits, city exploration, and nature walks.
Summer (June to September) corresponds to the rainy season, especially in mountainous regions such as Oaxaca and Puebla. However, this does not make travel difficult. Rain showers are usually short and often occur in the late afternoon, bringing refreshing coolness after sunny mornings.
Traveling to Mexico City, Puebla & Oaxaca in summer
Because Mexico City, Puebla, and Oaxaca are located at high altitude, temperatures remain relatively moderate even in summer, and extreme heat is rare. During this season, you can expect afternoon rain showers that rarely interfere with morning activities.
Summer also brings a more vibrant atmosphere, especially in Oaxaca, where traditional celebrations such as the Guelaguetza Festival (in July) offer a unique cultural highlight for travelers interested in local traditions.
It is also a greener season, ideal for hiking in places like Hierve el Agua or the Sierra Norte. We recommend bringing waterproof shoes and a light rain jacket to fully enjoy your journey.
