Enjoy your final moments by the Caribbean Sea before driving to Cancún Airport for your return flight home. A relaxing end to your journey through the Yucatán, filled with culture, flavors, and unforgettable experiences.
The Yucatán enjoys warm weather year-round. If you are flexible, the best time to travel is during the dry season, ideally November, April, or May, avoiding peak holiday periods.
The rainy season runs from June to September, but this does not mean constant rain.
Until mid-July, rainfall can be minimal. Later in summer, showers usually occur in the late afternoon rather than all day. We recommend planning activities in the morning and returning to your hotel early.
July and August are high season months. Interestingly, some landscapes are even more beautiful during the rainy season, especially Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, which becomes lush and vibrant.
Hurricanes can occur in September, but this is not systematic — it remains unpredictable. Occasionally, activities may be canceled due to storms, though this can happen anytime between June and September.
