Mayan Adventure at Yaxchilán & Bonampak (2 days)
A 2-day Premium excursion in the Lancandon Jungle
Go on a 2-day Mayan adventure, during which you will visit the archaeological sites of Yaxchilán and Bonampak, lost in the middle of the jungle of Chiapas, at the fronteer with Guatemala. You will spend a unique night in a local Lacandon camp, in the heart of the jungle before to discover their culture, and some more ruins and hidden waterfalls.
Day 1 - Departure
Departure from Palenque with a breakfast on the road.
Visit of the Yaxchilán site
Lancha trip to the Yaxchilán archaeological site and 2H-visit.
Meal
Come back to the pier to enjoy a local meal.
Visit of the Bonampak site
Visit of the Bonampak archaeological site and its beautiful frescoes.
Lacandon Jungle
Arrival at the Lacandon camp where you will spend the night.
Day 2 - Walk in Jungle
Breakfast followed by a walk through the jungle to visit a magnificent waterfall.
Visit of hidden ruins
Discover hidden ruins in the heart of the jungle (4 hours).
Meal in a local community
Meal in a local community and discovery of the Lacandon culture.
Back to Palenque
End of the trip and come back to Palenque around 7:30PM.

5 meals per person
