Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Cancún
Upon your arrival in Mexico, our Concierge service will be there to assist you and take care of you throughout your stay. A dedicated WhatsApp group will be created prior to your arrival, allowing you to stay in touch with us at all times and ensuring a smooth and relaxing experience.
A private transfer will take you to your hotel for your first night in Cancún.
1 night in : Cancún

Days 2 & 3 – Local Cooking Class in Valladolid
Your rental car will be delivered to your hotel, and you will set off towards Valladolid, a charming colonial town founded in 1543 by the Spanish. It enchants visitors with its well-preserved architecture, cobblestone streets, and peaceful atmosphere.
The following day, immerse yourself in the rich and unique gastronomy of the Yucatán, distinct from the rest of Mexico. During a hands-on cooking class, you will have the opportunity to cook alongside a Mayan chef, exploring traditional recipes passed down through generations.
Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients—nothing pre-cooked—you will discover ancestral techniques and culinary traditions that are at the heart of the region’s identity. Guided by a passionate local expert, you will take part in every step: roasting seeds and cacao, blending traditional spices, and creating authentic flavors that will bring your meal to life.
You will also enjoy making and tasting traditional chocolate, as well as sampling Xtabentún, a signature local liqueur.

Days 4 & 5 – Chichén Itzá, Izamal & Mérida
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our expert guide, who will accompany you throughout this fascinating exploration. With in-depth knowledge of Mayan history and architecture, your guide will reveal the secrets and mysteries of Chichén Itzá.
You will admire the majestic Pyramid of Kukulcán, also known as El Castillo, standing proudly at the heart of the site. Learn about its astronomical significance and its connection to the solar and agricultural cycles of the ancient Maya civilization.
You will then continue your journey towards your next destination, with a stop in the charming town of Izamal, known as the “Yellow City” for the distinctive color of its buildings.
The following day, enjoy time at leisure to explore Mérida. Discover the city’s main landmarks, including the San Ildefonso Cathedral, Casa de Montejo, and the Government Palace. We also recommend visiting the traditional markets and strolling along Paseo de Montejo, lined with grand colonial mansions.

Days 6 & 7 – Discovering Bacalar & Sunrise Paddle Experience
The Bacalar Lagoon, known as the “Lagoon of Seven Colors,” captivates with its stunning shades of blue, ranging from crystal-clear turquoise to deep azure. Surrounded by mangroves and cenotes, it invites you to relax, swim, or explore by kayak. This natural gem of southern Yucatán embodies serenity and the raw beauty of Mexico.
The following day, begin your morning gently as you glide across the lagoon on a paddleboard at sunrise, surrounded by silence and breathtaking scenery. A stop at the Black Cenote offers a moment of peaceful contemplation. Far from the crowds, this experience is both intimate and unforgettable, with photo opportunities to capture these special moments.

Days 8 & 9 – Tulum & Taco Tour Experience
Tulum captivates with its bohemian, eco-chic atmosphere—where turquoise beaches meet lush jungle and a laid-back vibe. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, its archaeological site offers breathtaking views and a fascinating insight into Mayan civilization. Discover ancient temples, frescoes, and protective walls that reflect both the spiritual and strategic importance of this unique site.
Swimming, culture, and nature come together here, making Tulum a perfect balance between history and escape.
Upon your arrival in the village, you will have the opportunity to join a Taco Tour. During this guided experience through the town center, you will taste a variety of tacos featuring traditional Mayan and Mexican stews. You will also learn about the ingredients and preparation methods, while discovering Tulum’s streets, history, culture, and local highlights.

Travel Advice
When to go ?
The Yucatán enjoys warm weather year-round. If you are flexible, the best time to travel is during the dry season, ideally November, April, or May, avoiding peak holiday periods. The rainy season runs from June to September, but this does not mean constant rain.
Travelling in Summer
Until mid-July, rainfall can be minimal. Later in summer, showers usually occur in the late afternoon rather than all day. We recommend planning activities in the morning and returning to your hotel early.
July and August are high season months. Interestingly, some landscapes are even more beautiful during the rainy season, especially Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, which becomes lush and vibrant.
Hurricanes can occur in September, but this is not systematic — it remains unpredictable. Occasionally, activities may be canceled due to storms, though this can happen anytime between June and September.
